RAVENOL Tractor and Off-Highway Lubricants are specifically developed to meet the strenuous demands of agricultural and construction equipment. These have special requirements, which cannot be met by standard lubricants as many have, for example, a common oil circuit for transmission, rear axle, and hydraulics which needs to be taken into account. For such machinery a universal oil, Super Universal Tractor Oil (STOU) is used, which addresses the combined requirements of differential and gear oils (API GL-4 with Limited-Slip (LS) additives), engine oil, as well as those of a hydraulic oil. Universal Tractor Transmission Oils (UTTO-oils), on the other hand, are only suitable for transmission, wet brakes and hydraulics, but not for the engine.
