Hobby Drivers Give Everything at Hockenheimring Public Race Days
The Public Race Days took place on the 11th and 12th of August 2018 at the Hockenheimring. Hobby drivers of all sorts sped down the quartermile and presented their treasured vehicles at the illustrious German race track.
All hobby racers and tuners were allowed to join and compete in a duel with other drivers on a distance of 0.25 miles. Vehicles, cars, and motorcycles get divided into different performance groups and start the quartermile in their class one against one on separate lanes.
Almost everything that is forbidden on the street is allowed at the brand-open tuning meeting. A street legal vehicle and a driver's license are the only things needed.
Many dragster teams who take part in the NitrOlympX a weekend later, take the opportunity to test and adjust their vehicles so that they are optimally prepared for the big day.
