Opel Motorsport Showcase Themselves to More Than a Million Spectators
RAVENOL Partner Opel Motorsport Presents Itself at "Hessentag"
From the 9th to 18th of June, Rüsselsheim, the home of Opel, was the venue of the 57th ‘Hessentag’. The 10-day event attracted a total of 1.4 million visitors that could view – among other things – the Opel plant in Rüsselsheim. One of the other Hessentag highlights was the motor-racing involvement of Opel Motorsport.
At the Opel Motorsport area, the visitors were informed on the current motor-racing vehicles of the brand. Exposed were racing cars such as the Opel Astra TCR, the Opel ADAM rally-cup vehicle and the Opel ADAM R2 competing in the European Rally Championship. Additionally, the countless visitors were offered the opportunity to complete a lap on a handling circuit with an Opel Corsa OPC.
Opel Motorsport stands for dynamics, competitive spirit and emotions around the brand with the thunderbolt – and has been doing so since 1899! Currently, Opel is also successfully competing in European motorsport and relies on RAVENOL high-performance lubricants while doing so. For the second consecutive time, Opel works drivers secured the Rally Junior European Championship with the current most successful rally car in its class – the Opel ADAM R2.
