RAVENOL and DTC Intensify Their Partnership
Lubrication experts RAVENOL and the ‘Deutsche Tourenwagen Cup’ (German Touring Car Cup) have signed a new three-year contract to intensify their partnership. From the start into the new season, the RAVENOL logo will decorate all the competition-number boards and the driver overalls. Furthermore, RAVENOL will be the official lubricant partner and supplier of the DTC.
The partnership between RAVENOL and the DTC that was started in 2015 will be taken to a new, higher level, this year. Starting in the 2017 season, RAVENOL will be series partner and official lubricant partner of the tradition-rich German touring-car series.
All the teams competing in the series may use any product available in the RAVENOL portfolio for their racing cars. The extensive product range comprises everything from race-engine and gearbox oils through coolants and hydraulic fluids to brake fluids, greases, additives and cleaners. Many DTC teams already relied on our RAVENOL products in the past and I am delighted that our involvement now has been turned into an official partnership,” says Martin Huning, Motorsport Director at Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH.
RAVENOL made their motor-sport comeback in 2004 and so, it comes as no surprise that their products can be found in many garages and team tents. “Our teams have been using several RAVENOL products for a long time and they appreciate the quality of our products and our company’s wealth of experience,” explained series organiser Katharina Meyer. With the integration of the RAVENOL logo on the competition-number boards and the racing overalls of the drivers, the new partnership is well underlined visually.
