Phoenix Racing to Celebrate Comeback in the ADAC GT Masters With RAVENOL
When it comes to motor racing, Phoenix Racing relies on RAVENOL. Last weekend, the successful motor-racing team based in Meuspath and RAVENOL jointly began the new, 10th GT Masters season.
In 2016, the ADAC GT Masters grid features vehicles such as the Audi R8 LMS, BMW M6 GT3, Corvette C7 GT3, Lamborghini Huracán GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, Bentley Continental GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R.
Phoenix Racing contests the seven race meetings of the 2016 season with the second generation of the Audi R8 LMS. The successful motor racing team already was on the grid of the ‘League of the Supercars’ in 2009 and 2011 so it is their third full ADAC GT Masters season. To date, they secured five race wins!

About the Audi R8 LMS
The supercar Audi R8 LMS is equipped by the Audi AG/Quattro GmbH with a 5.2-litre V8 engine that also is used as the production engine. With its enormous horsepower output of 585 bhp and a torque of more than 550 Nm, the GT3 engine virtually brims with power! The engine management is executed by the Bosch Motorsport Motronic MS6.4. Meanwhile, the racing oil RAVENOL RSS SAE 10W-60 that is adapted to high-performance motor racing makes for the perfect lubrication of the engine that features four valves per cylinder. A sequential, pneumatically operated six-speed racing gearbox with gear-shift paddles at the steering wheel is responsible for the power transmission. In the season kick-off at Oschersleben, Phoenix Racing finished sixth in the first race and seventh in the second. The season will be continued in late April with the second ADAC GT Masters weekend, at the Sachsenring, where Phoenix Racing hopes to be able to battle it out at the very front of the field.
Additionally, RAVENOL also recently became the official lubricant partner of the ADAC GT Masters. All the teams competing in the series can use lubricants such as engine and gearbox-oils, coolants, motor-racing brake fluids and other products provided by the Werther, Germany based lubricant manufacturer.
