Prema Powerteam and Mick Schumacher Take the Championship Lead in the Formula 4 Season Kick-Off
Since the beginning of the 2016 season RAVENOL has been a technology partner of Prema Powerteam. The successful racing team based in Milan has been shining with outstanding results in several series and categories.
Just a week after the successful start into the 2016 FIA Formula 3 European Championship season at Paul Ricard in early April, the Italian squad delivered in just as brilliant style in the season kick-off of the Italian Formula 4 Championship. In the first race meeting of his second Formula 4 season, Mick Schumacher, son of Formula One Record World Champion Michael Schumacher, overimpressed and took the championship lead by celebrating two race wins on Saturday and finishing seventh in round three on Sunday.
Italian single-seater racing team PREMA has been one of the most successful squads in this area of the sport for many years. Last year, the Italian team secured the FIA Formula 3 European Championship title courtesy of Sweden’s Felix Rosenqvist. In 2016, PREMA also joined the GP2 Series that is held in the support program of numerous Formula One GPs and is regarded as the pinnacle of motor racing’s feeder series.
